Founded in 2015, Toomics is a Korea-based webtoon platform with over 60 million total subscribers, a number that has doubled in the past two years. Currently available in nine languages, Toomics has leveraged its high-quality webtoon IP and distribution capability to evolve into one of the fastest growing global webtoon platforms to date, as evidenced by its compound annual growth (CAGR) of 42% from 2018 to 2021. .

This acquisition follows NPX Capital’s December 2021 acquisition of Korean webtoon and digital content production studio, Copin Communications, which was later flipped and established as Terapin Studios Inc., a US entity.
