The additional three-year deal builds on six years of collaboration between the companies, which has seen Wincanton support Loaf’s growth across the UK while managing customer services for its e-commerce channels.

Under the extended contract, Wincanton will fulfill orders across the UK and make approximately 50,000 deliveries each year. Wincanton will continue to provide supply chain services to Loaf, including warehouse services, order fulfillment and carrier management, and premium home delivery. This involves handling the brand’s flagship products such as sofas, armchairs, mattresses and tables, with technicians who assemble and position the delivery to the customer’s home.

Loaf will benefit from Wincanton’s investment in a 120,000 square foot dedicated e-commerce distribution center in Harlow, Essex.

As part of the group’s broader commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2040, this home delivery service is carbon neutral and made possible through a combination of improved vehicle technology, electrification and offsetting. carbon.
