Creative and content agency Edge has appointed Robyn Foyster, former editor of The Australian Women’s Weekly, to spearhead an expanded integrated content and publishing offering.

She joins Edge as Director of Content and Publishing Partnerships.

David Stretch, Managing Director of Edge: “Robyn’s skills and experience are quite unique. She has spanned the roles of editor, publisher and producer, and is a big entrepreneurial thinker. She brings global content ideas as well as deep experience in leveraging new publishing formats.

“It fits perfectly with our merging model of creation, content and connections – where we can produce intelligent and highly effective branded content for our clients across a myriad of traditional and new media formats.

“We have always strived to be at the forefront of content, bringing the best thoughts and experiences that many media and entertainment brands offer. Robyn is so well connected with leaders and media talent in Australia and we look forward to bringing that together with our team and clients.”

Robyn Foyster: “I am delighted to work with Edge. We kicked off the relationship by securing a major global account which we look forward to announcing shortly and are already working on some exciting new campaigns.

“We all know how great content is, so my job is to help land the biggest, most engaging opportunities that will help our clients stand out and connect.

“I look forward to exploring new areas of integration and partnership. I think it’s an exciting opportunity.

Foyster will retain its own media and consultancy businesses alongside this new role.
