There have been changes to business news sites in the past week.
James Manning, editor of Media week. moves to editor-in-chief, with associate editor Trent Thomas being promoted to editor.
Thomas (pictured top left) joined Mediaweek in 2018 as digital editor before being promoted to associate editor in early 2020. He launched digital media company Chattr in 2015 and has held various marketing roles throughout throughout his career.
“Under Trent’s leadership, Mediaweek has continued to grow its audience, setting new highs every month in 2021. With the revamped team and several initiatives we’ll soon be introducing, we’re confident we’ll keep the momentum going as we let’s go into 2022,” Manning said. (second from left).
“After editing the title for 22 years, I’m looking forward to being able to take a step back and focus more on content and long-term planning.”
Alisha Buaya will also join as a senior reporter for the Daily Mail, joining Tess Connery.
during this time ScreenHubVeteran David Tiley, who was a longtime editor and then film/politics journalist, is leaving the subscription platform after more than 15 years. Screen Hub is part of the Arts Hub group, with editor Edmond Tran and George Dunford as chief content officer.
