Humble signs a sales agreement with the Californian company LEUNE

First Canadian distributor of cannabis Humble & Smoke Inc. (CSE: HMBL) (OTCQX: HUMBF) is set to sell the products of a California-based pot brand run by women and known for its commitment to social advocacy.

On Thursday, the accessories company announced that its subsidiary Humble Cannabis Solutions had signed an exclusive deal with cannabis brand LEUNE. Humble will be responsible for the commercial representation of the brand throughout California, with an emphasis on marketing and promotional services.

LEUNE says it hopes to change the narrative of cannabis culture and has been recognized for its pre-rolls, solvent-free rosin gums as well as Storz & Bickel’s popular PAX vaporizer cartridges. The brand also sells cannabis accessories and clothing under LEUNE Lab.

Humble’s chief executive, Jessica Hulser, said in a statement that the company’s reputation for quality products and commitment to social advocacy has won customers over.

The company’s stock price fell 4.17% on Thursday to C$0.23 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.

LEUNE is a partner of the nonprofit Last Prisoner Project, an organization that aims to advocate for policy change, education, expungement, and aid for those incarcerated for non-violent cannabis-related crimes.

The brand is also a member of Broccoli Mag’s Floret Coalition, an anti-racism collective of cannabis-related businesses that give back to communities that have been harmed by the war on drugs. The coalition has more than 100 member brands who have donated more than $120,000 to organizations that prioritize the needs of Black, Latina, and Indigenous communities.

Director of Sales and Brand Development Humble Kristi Klupar said this new approach to cannabis sales will open doors and build on existing customer base in California.

“As the only supplier of cannabis and accessories in North Americawe are committed to working with brand partners to build long-term success,” Klupar said.

“I’m thrilled to join the Humble team and work with amazing female-led brands like LEUNE.”
